A great example is comparing WooCommerce to Ecwid. Although the overall feature set for WooCommerce beats out Ecwid, you're more likely to choose Ecwid if you're trying to integrate with Weebly, Wix or Joomla. On the other hand, WooCommerce only combines with WordPress.
Can you direct to the exact place in the account settings where I can set this, as you suggest here?… .
I have installed everything correctly for PayPal Advanced except I get this error when I try to pay for the cart:
One of the many benefits of WooCommerce is that it gives us pre-designed and coded templates to work with. The problem is that those template files are located in the plugin folder. And if the plugin updates in the future (which it most certainly will), any changes we make to the template will get lost. Since directly editing plugin files is a big ol’ no-no in WordPress, WooCommerce lets us modify the files by making copies of them that go in the theme folder. That will work as long as we do this in our functions.php or functionality plugin somewhere:

This is where being able to customize your website is critical. I did what you are asking about by using MySQL and PHP on the order form. (Collect and store the data on your site) – once you have confirmation of payment you ship the product. Tamara
Questions about the plugin can be emailed to me, Roland, at [email protected] If you need more extensive help setting up your store (as I have done for many others) I will want to invoice you for my time, but don’t think I’m going to break your bank there. HOWEVER… I want to add a FIXED handling fee to the order [say £10] for no matter how many items a customer orders but when I add the below shortcode it adds £10 to EVERY items that goes in the basket.

@Esal, If you tell me how to check for it in a custom field I will add it to the plugin. I do not want to include it on every page for no reason (it can conflict with other plugins and affect page load speed).
Hello, I am using Version 188.8.131.52 of the plug-in. From it’s description it would do exactly what I wanted so I installed it and did some tests. All went well until I tried to use the ‘return’ & ‘cancel_return’ parameters. Eventually, by viewing the page source, I discovered that those 2 parameters were not included with the other shortcode parameters. This turned out to be a space that had appeared in the urls which I hadn’t spotted due to line wrapping in the editor. It now works great on my live website so I copied it to my dev site to amend and use for another payment. I’m now back to where I was – it ignores ‘return’ & ‘cancel_return’ and cannot find out why. Any advice to track down the problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Take a gander at the bullet points below to see where Easy Digital Downloads fell to WooCommerce (along with where it succeeded):
